Homemade soldering booth

I've finally finished building my new soldering booth on the weekend. I got my idea from some of the booth i've seen hacked together on the internet, so with those ideas i come up with this design.
I built it from old scrap pieces of plywood Plexiglass and MDF sheets i had laying around the workshop for months.
Sorry about the picture, there is too much background.

Front
Here is the front of the booth here. Here you can see all the gadgets i've got in it.

Inside
Here is some of the things i have inside the booth.
Here on the top left is my 4 way surge powerboard with switches and LED. Here i can plug my appliances in. I keep my soldering iron plugged in on the right all the tim
e, so when i need to use it i just flick the switch. Saves unplugging it all the time.

Here is the exhaust fan at the top of the booth. It's only a crappy little 12v cpu cooling fan but it works and copes fine in here with the amount of fumes created.

Here is my cigarette socket mounted on the top left. Pretty much all of my 12v electronic appliances i have, have a cigarette fitting on it. This comes in handy for running those appliances in my booth when i need to use them to work on a project. i'm not quite finished on this part yet, just need a 7812 voltage regulator and a 12v transformer for it. Just have to wait until jaycar get some more in. ill post a new photo when i can of this part finished.

Here is my Digital multimeter set up on the back wall of the booth. Its fixed to the wall with Double sided tape. Lot more convenient and saves space on the bench where I work. When I need to use it I just simply unroll the test leads, turn it on and I'm ready to go

Ducting
Here is the exhaust from the fan inside. I've built a box around the fan and put a lid on top. i then cut a hole in the lid and slipped the pipe in and lined it up over the fan. I also put hot glue around the pipe to stop it moving and screwed the lid down with some more hot glue. This part didn't turn out as well as i wanted it to but it works and it's good enough for me. i then put the ducting over the pipe. The ducting size is 31/4" inside diameter i got from freeze equipt. Not cheap stuff either like $40 per meter. Also you can see on the right i made a stand to hold the hose. Its not perfect either but still works.

Here is where the ducting exits to the window. i made a board that sits in the window all day with a 3.5" piece of pipe in it. here i put a 3.5" joiner on the inside so the ducting sits inside it nicely as you can see.

Finally the Exhaust pipe on the outside of the window board. Fumes are exhausted up and away.
I will post some more images on any upgrades i do to this project. Thank you for reading and post a comment if you want
